01 Where are you based?
Rob routinely works in person with people up and down the I-84/I-91/Mass Pike area, between New York City, Hartford, Springfield, all of central Connecticut, and the greater Boston area including the North and South shores, as well as in Lenox, MA.
He is also available to work with clients remotely throughout the United States.
02 How much does it cost?
All clients receive generous free post visit support by telephone, email, text and by remote control, and there is frequently no charge for quick questions and solutions provided that arise from time to time between regular service calls. In-home or in-office visits are subject to minimum charges and a 24-hour cancellation policy.
For speaking engagements, Rob makes every effort to accommodate the budgets of professional associations, social groups, and residential communities.
03 Do you tutor privately?
One to one work with individuals, particularly older people, is Rob's passion. Because many people in their 50's and older never used computers in their college or business careers, people in this age group often need patient, supportive coaching and encouragement. Rob finds joy in helping seniors get connected and reconnected with family and old friends, as well as with their health providers via computers, tablets and smartphones so that as we age we are not shut in, no matter the physical challenges of aging.
04 Is it better for me to just have this fixed or to learn to fix it myself?
Rob's approach to each situation starts with a conversation exploring precisely what it is that the client wants. Some people want to learn how to fix certain things themselves and some people simply want it fixed and have no interest in the how-to. Rob is able to identify the complexity of a particular issue, assess the client's competence and interest in learning, and make an individual recommendation in each circumstance.
