';--have u been pwned?
Here's a link to a phenomenally useful website.
Developed and run by Troy Hunt, a Microsoft Regional Director and international speaker on web security created "';--have i been pwned?" as a free resource for anyone to quickly assess if they may have been put at risk due to an online account being compromised or "pwned" in a data breach.
Perhaps you should check your email addresses at the world's greatest database of compromised accounts. I found that my Adobe, LinkedIn, Tumbler and Forbes accounts had been part of major breaches. (Because I use a different password at every single site, and two-factor authentication wherever available, these breaches caused me no significant problems.)
';--have i been pwned? is safe, reliable and very useful.
And by the way, if you don't want youngsters snickering at you, please know that the word is best pronounced "owned."
